Arizona- Sacred Stave is uniquely Arizonan and unequalled in the craft spirit community and this newly defined whiskey category. Distilled from 100% 2-Row malted barley to no more than 160 proof, matured in red wine barrels and bottled at 90 proof. Aged no less than 6 months.
Sacred Stave Single Malt Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Green apples and ripe pears, followed by a deep, oaky pinot noir. Pipe tobacco, cloves, vanilla and caramel add sweetness.
Palate: The texture is smooth and spicy, which makes for a tingly and silky mouthfeel.With notes of candied almond, tobacco, leather, vanilla.
Finish: The finish is dry, lingering and tastes like dark cherries and dates.
Distillery Information
SanTan Spirits is a local Arizona craft distillery making single malt, bourbon and rye whiskeys in their twin artisan pot stills. The spirits are finished in hand-select wine barrels.
