Influenced by old Dutch style Gin with a whiskey base instead of a London dry gin that has a vodka base, giving a richer body. A sipping gin with wormwood to mute the high pitch pine notes of the juniper bringing forward floral notes of orris root, rosehip, and coriander with subtle citrus notes of lemon peel and nutty undertones of toasted sunflower.

Standard Wormwood Distillery is pushing the boundaries of classic liquors by redefining and reinventing the craft of what wormwood spirits can be. Using the bitter, complex profile of wormwood to create uniquely layered spirits, their Wormwood Rye, Wormwood Gin, and Wormwood Agave expressions are versatile and can best be enjoyed on their own at 90 proof, or as substitutions for classic spirits in a wide range of cocktails – such as a Manhattan, Sazerac, and Negroni or modern mixologist alternatives.
