Un día, sólo por diversión, pusimos un poco de whisky de centeno en barriles que originalmente se usaban para envejecer el vino. Cuando mezclamos el 'vermú' y el 'syrah-ed' descubrimos un whisky totalmente natural y no desagradablemente dulce para el resto de nosotros.

Notas de cata de whisky High West Yippee Ki-Yay

Nariz: canela en rama, albaricoque seco, chocolate amargo con cordial de cereza, salvia seca, azúcar moreno, nuez tostada quebradiza.

Boca: Especias brillantes de canela, vainilla, anís estrellado, pastel de cereza, hierbas secas, matices de madera de cedro.

Final: Mermelada de frutos rojos especiada, regaliz negro y menta verde confusa.
