¡Un lanzamiento de principios de 2019 de whisky de pura malta con fuerza en barrica de 12 años de Springbank! Estos lanzamientos son siempre un placer y muestran brillantemente el poderoso perfil de sabor de la malta de Springbank. Esta vez, los destiladores se han desviado de su receta habitual de barricas, extrayendo el 50% del whisky de barricas de bourbon y el 50% de barricas de jerez (las ediciones anteriores se han envejecido en barricas de 30% de bourbon y 70% de barricas de jerez).

Nariz: Grandes raciones de galletas de caramelo y avena con pasas, con bocanadas de humo rico en roble desarrollándose en el fondo.

Boca: Galletas de mantequilla saladas de caramelo, tallo de tomate, pastel de carne picada y cedro.

Final: Perdurable aire costero, nuez moscada y miel.

La destilería Springbank es una destilería de whisky de pura malta de propiedad familiar situada en la península de Kintyre, en el oeste de Escocia. Es propiedad de J & A Mitchell & Company, quien también posee la destilería Glengyle, el embotellador independiente más antiguo, William Cadenheads, y varias etiquetas de whisky escocés mezclado.
