Don Papa Rum se creó por primera vez en 2012 y llegó al Reino Unido dos años después. Destilado en pequeños lotes de caña de azúcar cultivada en la isla filipina de Negros y envejecida en roble americano durante 7 años. Está lleno de sabores de vainilla y un toque especiado.

Nariz: Ligero y afrutado.
Boca: Suave y delicado. Vainilla, roble, miel con notas de frutas confitadas en todas partes.
Final: Rico.
Información de la destilería
Don Papa fue fundado por el entonces ejecutivo de Rémy Cointreau, Stephen Carroll. Durante un viaje a Bacolod, Carroll escuchó historias de que la zona tenía la mejor caña de azúcar del mundo. Hasta ese momento, el ron del país se había destilado en otras zonas de Filipinas. Fundó Bleeding Heart Rum Company para fabricar ron en Negros, considerada la capital de la caña de azúcar del país.
