Headed by Dave Scheurich, former master distiller of Woodford Reserve, the Boondocks range offers us an impressive array of American whiskey, including this Port cask-finished bourbon! The Kentucky straight bourbon matured for a total of six years, and that Port finish has brought layers of rich oak, raisins, and sweet spice to the table.

Nose: Vanilla fudge, charred oak, dried cherries and berries, with cinnamon sticks in tow.

Palate: Silky layers of butterscotch cushion a touch of smoky oak char, joined by plump raisins and sweet spice.

Finish: Rich oak lingers, with dried fruits, vanilla, cinnamon snaps, and a touch of nutmeg.
