Nose: Dark caramel, vanilla bean, toasted oak, cinnamon spice, and roasted nuts with hints of leather and burnt sugar.

Palate: Full-bodied and concentrated with brown sugar, charred oak, baking spice, dark cherry, molasses, and rich caramel layered over dense bourbon sweetness.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering oak tannin, pepper spice, caramelized sugar, and subtle cocoa bitterness.

Elijah Craig is produced by Heaven Hill Distillery, one of Kentucky’s most historically significant independent whiskey producers. Named after Reverend Elijah Craig, a figure often linked—though somewhat mythically—to the origins of charred oak barrel aging, the brand has become especially respected for its Barrel Proof releases introduced in 2013. These batches are released several times per year, each carrying a unique proof and subtly different profile depending on seasonal aging conditions and barrel selection.
