Dartigalongue 80 year Old Vintage 1941 Armagnac

Dartigalongue is one of the oldest Cognac houses in France. They've been producing Armagnac since 1834. The Armagnac 1941 is a great example of the level of quality that the house is known for. It's made from eaux-de-vie that are distilled from grapes that are picked from the family's vineyards.

Nose: Rich and powerful. Aromas of old leather, spices, typical of the noble rancio.

Palate: Perfect rancio style with oxidation notes, dried nuts, and cacao. A delicate hint of vanilla arrives on the long finish, which is long and subtle.

Finish: Lingering.
