Lillet Rose is made from a blend white Grand Cru Bordeaux grape varietals (Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscatel) blended with liqueurs before being matured in oak casks. The liqueurs used are flavoured with sweet orange peel from Spain and bitter orange peel from Haiti as well as locally sourced fruit liqueurs from south western France, which along with a small amount of Lillet Rouge add the rose colour.
