Detailed Description
Ocho is the first tequila to designate both the year it was produced and the precise field from which the family grown agaves were sourced. Each batch comes from a different field or rancho contributing distinctive characteristics of that place. The field where the agave for this vintage is grown is located around 27 km east of Arandas, where the mountain range “Cerro Grande” begins, lending its name to the ranch. To date, Cerro Grande is the agave field with the highest elevation that has been used for Ocho, sitting at 2,290 meters above sea level.

Nose: The nose is lively and crisp. Peppery, very citric, lemon tea, grass, wet soil, celery, fresh coriander, and fruity notes at the end like pears and green apples.
Palate: Orange peel, black pepper, herbaceous and a subtle smokiness rounds the palate.
Finish: Nice cooked agave flavor in the aftertaste.
