Not in this dram. Port Askaig 8YO is a GREAT mainline, classic Islay Single Malt. It’s everything you want in an Islay dram — full of flavor and complexity without overwhelming the palate. The smoke, peat, salt, and see notes are all there, but you also have the balance of caramels and heather that sparkle on the back palate. And its bottled at a scientifically perfect 45.8% ABV.
