Campo Azul 5.6 Year Old Single Barrel Extra Anejo Tequila

A hand-selected single-barrel extra añejo made from 100% agave and matured for 5.6 years in a Cognac cask. Produced in the Jesús María Highlands and aged at approximately 7,217 feet above sea level, the tequila develops a deeply mature, cask-driven character. Distilled in 2019 and bottled in March 2025, it combines cooked agave richness with elegant oak and Cognac influence.

Nose: Cooked agave, vanilla, dried fruit, soft oak, caramel, and warm barrel sweetness.

Palate: Rich mature agave, caramel, baking spice, vanilla, dried fruit, and polished Cognac-toned oak with a rounded sweetness.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering toasted oak, vanilla, spice, dried fruit, and refined agave character.

Campo Azul is produced by Productos Finos de Agave in the highlands of Jalisco, with its tequila production centered around the Jesús María region. The brand is known for handcrafted 100% agave tequilas and carefully selected barrel maturation. Its single-barrel program uses individually selected casks to create limited expressions with distinctive maturation profiles. Campo Azul's production emphasizes slow cooking and traditional highland agave character, while specialty cask finishes add further depth and individuality.
