Aged for two decades in new charred American oak, the bourbon develops remarkable depth, with concentrated vanilla, caramel, dark fruit, oak and spice. The long maturation gives it a refined, mature character with layers of dried fruit, leather, tobacco and polished wood.

Nose: Rich vanilla, caramel and dried fruit with toasted oak, leather, tobacco, dark cherry and subtle baking spice.

Palate: Deep and complex, with dark caramel, vanilla, dried cherry, raisins and cocoa layered over seasoned oak, leather and gentle spice.

Finish: Exceptionally long and warming, with lingering dark fruit, vanilla, tobacco, polished oak and delicate baking spices.

Distillery Information

Buffalo Trace Distillery is one of Kentucky's most historic continuously operating bourbon producers, with roots stretching back to the 18th century and the development of the site along the Kentucky River. The distillery has operated under several names throughout its history before becoming Buffalo Trace in the late 20th century. Today, it is part of the Sazerac Company and produces a wide portfolio of highly regarded American whiskeys.
