Nose: Cooked agave, vanilla, oak, dried fruit, and baking spice.

Palate: Complex and layered — caramel, vanilla, oak, apricot, black pepper, and warm spice over a soft agave base.

Finish: Long and evolving with lingering oak, sweet spice, dried fruit, and a dry, refined fade.

Fuenteseca is a benchmark producer in extended-age tequila, known for pushing maturation far beyond standard extra añejo requirements. The 2014 “Cosecha” release reflects a single-harvest philosophy, where all agave is sourced from the same year and aged with careful barrel selection, sometimes across different cask types and environments. The result is a tequila that behaves closer to a fine aged spirit like cognac or whisky, with heavy oak integration balanced by residual agave freshness.
