Distillery Information

Penelope Bourbon was founded in 2018 and has built its reputation around blending different bourbon mash bills and experimenting with innovative finishing techniques. The brand became part of MGP Ingredients in 2023, bringing Penelope into the broader MGP whiskey portfolio. Its Architect series was developed in collaboration with French oak specialists Tonnellerie Radoux, using OakScan technology to precisely select and prepare French oak staves for finishing. Penelope uses these stave-finishing techniques to create distinctive flavor profiles while maintaining the underlying character of its bourbon.
