Bottled at barrel proof and aged for a minimum of 13 years, this release showcases deep, layered bourbon character with vanilla, brown sugar, coffee, cherry, citrus, and mature oak. The 2026 batch also includes select older barrels, including an 18-year-old barrel personally selected by Eddie Russell.

Nose: Vanilla and seasoned oak lead into brown sugar, coffee, orange peel, and hints of dark fruit.

Palate: Bright cherry and citrus mingle with nutmeg, allspice, sweet cola, caramel, and mature oak.

Finish: Medium-long and warming, with caramel, toffee, oak tannin, baking spice, and lingering dark fruit.

Distillery Information

Wild Turkey Distilling Co. has been producing bourbon in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, for generations and is closely associated with the Russell family’s influence on the brand. Eddie Russell began working at the distillery in 1981 and followed in the footsteps of his father, legendary Master Distiller Jimmy Russell. Eddie later created Russell’s Reserve as a tribute to his father, establishing a range focused on carefully selected, mature bourbon. The 2026 13 Year Old celebrates Eddie’s 45 years at Wild Turkey and continues that family tradition through a commemorative release.
