Distillery Information
"The "Speyside M" distillery refers to the Speyside Distillery, a unique, small-scale operation in Kingussie, Scotland, built from a 1700s barley mill by stonemason Alex Fairlie for George Christie starting in 1962, finally distilling in 1990. Known for its traditional, intimate setting (the whole production is in one building) and drawing water from the River Tromie, it gained fame as "Lagganmore" in BBC's Monarch of the Glen and is now owned by Harvey's of Edinburgh, continuing its classic Speyside style."
