Detailed Description
This Glenrothes single malt is aged for 23 years in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength, without any chill-filtering. The Glenrothes distillery was founded in 1878 by James Findlater, who had previously worked for the Glenlivet distillery. Glenrothes is located in the Speyside region of Scotland, and the distillery is now owned by the Edrington Group. The malt is made with barley grown on farms in the region.

Nose: Apricots, dried mango, treacle and banana chips.
Palate: Green apples, stewed rhubarb and cherry yoghurt.
Finish: Mouth coating. Ginger snaps, coffee liqueur.
