Distillery Information

Teaninich Distillery, located near Alness in the Scottish Highlands, was founded in 1817, making it one of Scotland's older distilleries. Known for its distinctive house style, Teaninich whisky offers a crisp, grassy character with vibrant citrus and floral notes, making it a popular choice for blending. Its use of a mash filter press instead of traditional mash tuns is a rarity in Scotch whisky production, which enhances clarity and flavor extraction. Although much of its output goes into blends, Teaninich's single malts are increasingly recognized for their unique, clean profile.
