A highly limited 13-year-old bourbon commemorating Heaven Hill’s historic Deatsville aging campus and its final years of active maturation. Drawn from just 17 barrels aged on the third floor of Rickhouse AA, the whiskey showcases the rich, mature character developed within Deatsville’s distinctive tiered-roof warehouses. Deep caramel, dark fruit, vanilla and seasoned oak come together in a powerful yet balanced expression.

Nose: Rich caramel, butterscotch and vanilla with dark cherry, dried stone fruit, chocolate, toasted oak and warm baking spice.

Palate: Full and deeply layered, with caramel, vanilla and sweet oak alongside dark fruit, chocolate, baking spice and a pronounced rye spice. A rich, slightly herbaceous oak character adds depth without overwhelming the bourbon’s natural sweetness.

Finish: Long, dry and warming, with dark cherry, caramel, chocolate, charred oak, vanilla and lingering spice.

Distillery Information

Heaven Hill Distillery was founded in Kentucky in 1935 by the Shapira family and has grown into one of America’s largest family-owned producers of distilled spirits. The Deatsville campus became part of Heaven Hill’s aging network in the early 1980s and today contains nine rickhouses capable of holding approximately 167,000 barrels. Its distinctive tiered-roof architecture encourages natural airflow through the warehouses, creating a unique maturation environment. This 13-year-old release is the first chapter of a multi-year tribute to Deatsville as the campus transitions out of active aging, with additional commemorative releases planned through 2027.
