The rum influence creates a rich, rounded profile without overwhelming the underlying Irish spirit. Bottled at 46% ABV, it offers a fuller texture and a distinctive combination of Irish whiskey and aged-rum character.

Nose: Tropical fruit, caramel and brown sugar with vanilla, dried apricot, toasted oak and gentle baking spice.

Palate: Rich and smooth, with banana, raisin, caramel and vanilla alongside dried fruit, warm spice and subtle oak.

Finish: Long and warming, with lingering tropical fruit, brown sugar, vanilla and soft oak spice.

Distillery Information

Teeling Whiskey was founded in Dublin in 2012 by brothers Jack and Stephen Teeling, continuing a family whiskey-making tradition that dates back to the 18th century. The family previously established Cooley Distillery and played a major role in the revival of independent Irish whiskey production. Teeling opened its Dublin distillery in 2015, becoming the first new distillery in Dublin in more than 125 years. The company is particularly known for its innovative approach to maturation and finishing, using a wide range of unusual casks to influence its Irish whiskey. Collaborations such as the Santa Teresa 1796 release demonstrate Teeling's willingness to combine Irish whiskey with distinctive international spirits traditions.
