Benriach 15 Year Old 2008 - Cadenhead's Natural Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML

This single malt was distilled at Benriach in 2008 and spent the next 15 years maturing in a manzanilla sherry cask. The cask was opened by Cadenhead's in 2023, independently releasing a total of 282 cask strength bottles.

Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.

Palate: On the palate it is very elegant, rich and full-bodied.

Finish: The finish is quite unique, rich and long lasting.

"Benriach's story is one of early success, sudden closure, decades of quiet malt production, and a vibrant revival, founded by John Duff in 1898, shuttered by the Pattison Crash in 1900, kept alive by its floor maltings for Longmorn, reopened in 1965, and later acquired by Brown-Forman, becoming known for its diverse, often peated or triple-distilled Speyside whiskies."
