This is a single barrel bourbon from the excellent Blanton's range. Bottled at cask strength without any chill-filtration or additional colours – this one came from barrel #2175 in the legendary Warehouse H, and was bottled at 61.3% ABV.

Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.

Palate: Chewy caramel, barrel char, waxy fruit and peppery spice. Enjoyably oily at times.

Finish: Elegant long lasting aftertaste.

Blanton, who saved special "honey barrels" from the unique metal Warehouse H for VIPs; this tradition inspired Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee to launch the world's first commercial single-barrel bourbon in 1984, revolutionizing the industry and creating a collector's item with its iconic horse stoppers spelling B-L-A-N-T-O-N-S."
