Nose: Great elegance and charm on the nose.

"Caol Ila distillery, named for the Gaelic for "Sound of Islay," was founded in 1846 by Hector Henderson, becoming Islay's largest distillery and a key component of Johnnie Walker blends, known for its smoky yet balanced character. Its story is one of survival, multiple ownership changes (including Bulloch Lade & Co and Diageo), significant 1972 rebuilding, and major 2022 renovations that transformed it into a modern, immersive visitor experience, showcasing its essential role in Scotch whisky."
