A grand old Craigellachie single malt, distilled in 1995 and matured for 30 years in a single sherry butt. The cask was opened by Hunter Laing in 2025, releasing 161 cask strength bottles to join the Old & Rare Platinum collection.

Nose: Great elegance and charm on the nose.

Palate: The palate is an explosion of delicate flavors, nice and delightful mouthfeel.

"Craigellachie Distillery, founded in 1891 by whisky pioneers Peter Mackie & Alexander Edward, is known as "The Bad Boy of Speyside" for its defiant, old-school spirit, using unique worm tubs to create a rich, meaty, sulphury, yet fruity whisky, largely for Dewar's blends, but now gaining traction as a single malt under Bacardi, surviving ownership changes (DCL, Diageo) to offer distinctive drams reflecting its founders' contrasting personalities."
