This is a very fine, older, sherried single cask release from GlenAllachie. It was matured for 19 years in an oloroso hogshead, then filled into 370 bottles at 55.2% ABV.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant and delightful.

Palate: On the palate it is very elegant, rich and full-bodied.

Finish: Perfect, long lasting finish.

"GlenAllachie distillery, built in 1967 for blends, had a quiet history under Chivas Brothers before whisky legend Billy Walker and partners bought it in 2017, relaunching it as a premium single malt brand focused on rich sherry cask maturation, transforming it from a blending workhorse into a celebrated independent distillery known for quality and complex flavours, with its own visitor centre opening in 2019."
