Hennessy V.S.O.P Cognac

First commissioned in 1817 by the future King George IV, Hennessy V.S.O.P is the original "Very Special Old Pale" and represents Hennessy's pioneering spirit. Crafted by eight generations of the Fillioux Master Blender family, this blend is composed of around 60 eaux‑de‑vie matured in French oak barrels. Its ruby‑amber hue sets the stage for a smooth and harmonious expression that honors over 200 years of craftsmanship.

Distillery Information

Hennessy was founded in 1765 by Richard Hennessy, an Irish officer serving in France. Based in Cognac, France, it grew into the largest cognac producer in the world. Today, Hennessy is part of the LVMH group and produces around 50 million bottles annually. The house is renowned for its mastery of blending, overseen for eight generations by the Fillioux family of master blenders.
