Nose: It has very pleasant and lovely aromas.

Palate: On the palate it is very elegant, rich and full-bodied.

"The Imperial Distillery, a Speyside Scotch whisky producer (1897-1998), had a stop-start history, built for Queen Victoria's Jubilee but often closed, with its spirit mainly for blends like Teacher's & Ballantine's; owned by DCL, Allied, then Pernod Ricard, it was mothballed in 1998, demolished in 2013, and replaced by the Dalmunach distillery on the same site. Its rare single malts are now collector's items."
