Distilled and matured in Martinique’s tropical climate at the foot of Montagne Pelée, this rhum agricole showcases the island’s volcanic terroir and the traditional spirit-making techniques of Distillerie J.M, one of the oldest and most respected producers in the region. The quarter-century aging has yielded a profound complexity and depth of flavor, balanced at a refined 40.6% ABV. Bottled in a sophisticated presentation and released in strictly limited numbers, the 1998 Signature edition appeals strongly to collectors and connoisseurs of rare aged rums.
