John Rich had a very specific flavor profile in mind and was adamant that the ingredients be all American. #DrinkAmerican.

With those nuggets of information the West Coast team at Eastside Distilling set to work to create something reminiscent of Canadian Whiskey, yet produced right here in the good ol’ US of A! Hail! Redneck Riviera Whiskey!

Hundreds of samples (and a few hangovers) later, Redneck Riviera American Blended Whiskey was born.

The final test? Making sure that it could get past even the toughest whiskey critic, Granny Rich! We are proud to say that its certified #GrannyRichApproved..

John Rich | Redneck Riviera - American Blended Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Light Vanilla, Butterscotch Sweetness, Caramel with a bright touch of Honey.

Palate: Smooth Vanilla and the perfect touch of oak. Rich, full palate complexity with approachable sweetness, followed by honey dark stone fruit essence. Rounded out with Earthy grains.

Distillery Information

A once small, sleepy rum company founded in 2008 and tucked away on Portland’s famous distillery row, we’ve grown into the state’s third largest spirit producer and the country’s first publicly traded craft distillery; NASDAQ: EAST. Over the span of 10 years we’ve launched many award-winning spirits including our hometown Portland Potato Vodka, Oregon Marionberry Whiskey, Hue-Hue Coffee Rum, and our newest Burnside Whiskey expressions, all aged in Quercus Garryana casks, glorious Oregon Oak!
