Nose: Very elegant and precise aromas.

Palate: On the palate it is very elegant, rich and full-bodied.

Finish: Quite delicate and smooth texture on the long finish.

"Old Pulteney Distillery, founded in 1826 in Wick, Scotland, has a story deeply tied to the sea and the herring trade, becoming the most northerly mainland distillery, relying on sea access for barley and exports, with many workers also being fishermen, and known for its maritime-influenced spirit, despite facing closure due to local prohibition laws before reopening under various owners, eventually becoming the "Maritime Malt" recognized today by Inver House Distillers."
