This single malt was distilled at Fettercairn in 1995 and spent the next 29 years maturing in a single hogshead. The cask was cracked open by Signatory in 2025, releasing 211 bottles at a robust 59.8% ABV.

Nose: Very elegant and precise aromas.

Palate: A very pleasant, rich and smooth taste in the mouth. Lovely texture.

Distillery Information

"Fettercairn Distillery, founded in 1824 by Sir Alexander Ramsay in the Scottish Highlands, is known for its pioneering spirit, unique cooling ring stills creating tropical notes, and links to British Prime Minister William Gladstone (whose father bought it early on). After changing hands, it became part of Whyte & Mackay in 1973, focusing initially on blends but now highlighting its distinct single malts with their iconic unicorn logo, symbolizing its Scottish roots and purity."
