This hearty Highlander from Pulteney joins the Old Malt Cask collection from indie bottler Hunter Laing. Distilled in 1992, the single malt matured in a single refill barrel for two decades, yielding a total release of 235 bottles.

Nose: Great elegance and charm on the nose.

Palate: The palate is very powerful and complex. Smooth texture.

Distillery Information

"Founded in 1826 by James Henderson the Pulteney Distillery was named after Sir William Pulteney. The part of Wick that the distillery is situated in to that time was a separate little town called Pulteneytown. The barley to that time was transported to Wick by ship and that was the way the Whisky barrels left it."
