David Ramey is known for his pioneering work in creating the style of Chardonnay that California is famous for today. The richer, full-bodied style is created through the use of indigenous yeasts, prolonged sur lie ageing, and the use of malolactic and new oak barrel fermentation. Unsurpringly, varietal Chardonnay features heavily in the portfolio.
