Detailed Description

Released in 2008 to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Four Roses, this limited-edition single-barrel bourbon celebrates the brand’s long-standing Kentucky whiskey heritage. Aged for approximately 12 years and bottled at barrel strength without chill filtration, it showcases the depth and complexity developed through extended maturation in new charred American oak. Its character combines delicate fruit sweetness with rich vanilla, toasted nuts, baking spices and mature oak. A distinctive vintage release, it represents an important chapter in Four Roses’ history of crafting expressive, individually selected bourbons.

Distillery Information

Four Roses Distillery is a historic Kentucky bourbon producer based in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. The brand traces its origins to the late 19th century and became known for its distinctive Spanish Mission-style architecture and commitment to traditional bourbon craftsmanship. Its production method uses two mash bills and five proprietary yeast strains, creating ten distinct bourbon recipes with different flavor characteristics. These recipes are matured separately and carefully selected for blending or single-barrel bottlings. Four Roses has earned a strong reputation among bourbon enthusiasts for its attention to fermentation, maturation and barrel selection.
