The estate was originally part of Domaine Colin-Deléger. This domaine was previously owned by Philippe Colin's parents, but was divided equally between him and his brother Bruno upon their retirement. The Philippe Colin portfolio of roughly 30 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir-based wines is predominantly devoted to those of Chassagne-Montrachet, with additional offerings from the villages of Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin and Santenay, for example. The domaine makes several premier cru wines from sites in Chassagne-Montrachet, such as Morgeot, and adjoining climats including Puligny, Montagny, Santenay and Maranges.
