Matured in new charred American oak, it delivers remarkable depth from two decades of aging, combining rich caramel and dark fruit with mature oak, vanilla and warming spice. Bottled at full barrel strength, this is a powerful yet refined expression built for slow sipping.
2014 Michter's 20 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich vanilla, honey and molasses with dark fruit, toasted oak, leather and subtle baking spice.
Palate: Deep and concentrated, with caramel, vanilla and spiced honey alongside ripe orange, dark fruit and mature oak. The texture is rich and oily, with layers of chocolate, nuts and warming spice developing across the palate.
Finish: Long and warming, with lingering caramel, mature oak, leather, dark fruit and baking spice.
