Midsummer Cellars is an artisanal, small-production winery in Napa Valley, California, co-founded in 2000 by Rollie and Sally Heitz with a dedicated focus on crafting handcrafted, vineyard-designated Cabernet Sauvignon. Leveraging a lifetime of elite winemaking experience, Rollie—the youngest son of legendary vintner Joseph Heitz—grew up working alongside his father at the iconic Heitz Wine Cellars before establishing this boutique venture to honor distinct vineyard terroirs. Operating at a tiny, highly focused scale that yields around 2,500 cases annually, the producer sources premium fruit from select, microscopic plots, including their own 1.4-acre estate Cañon Creek Vineyard nestled just below Howell Mountain, alongside the premier Tomasson and Fowler vineyards in St. Helena.
