Elyse Winery is a historic, family-founded estate in Napa Valley, California, established in 1987 by Ray and Nancy Coursen and named after their daughter. Initially launched as a "nomadic" venture with a small batch of Zinfandel from the iconic Morisoli Vineyard, the couple anchored their brand in 1997 by purchasing a charming, five-acre property and tasting room on Hoffman Lane just outside Yountville. In late 2018, the winery transitioned to new ownership under local investors Josh Peeples and Cheryl Foil. This change preserved the winery's legacy of sourcing from top-tier, multi-generational vineyards while elevating its profile by bringing in the highly acclaimed Russell Bevan as lead winemaker. Today, the brand is celebrated for its rich, polished, and vineyard-designate Cabernet Sauvignons, old-school Zinfandels, and Rhone-style blends.
