A legendary final release from the original 1985 vintage of Sazerac 18 Year Old, bottled in 2015 as part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. Distilled in the spring of 1985 and matured for 18 years before being transferred to stainless steel tanks to halt further oak influence, this edition represents the last draw from that historic stock. Rich rye spice, molasses, dark fruit and mature oak combine with a refined sweetness and remarkable depth.

Nose: Rye grain, allspice and ginger with molasses, fruit cake, vanilla, mint and seasoned oak.

Palate: Rich and mature, with dark molasses, toffee and caramel followed by rye spice, cinnamon, ginger, dark cherry and mature oak. A subtle herbal character adds complexity.

Finish: Long and dry, with lingering rye spice, cinnamon, mint, dark molasses and seasoned oak.
