Pierazzuoli is a historic, multi-generational Tuscan wine and olive oil producer run by brothers Enrico and Dario Pierazzuoli alongside their sisters Serena and Enrica, operating under a strict quality philosophy of "one bottle of wine per vine stock". Founded by their father in 1970, the family business spans two distinct estate properties in renowned Tuscan appellations west of Florence: Tenuta Cantagallo, a sprawling 200-hectare property acquired in 1970 between Florence and Vinci focusing on Chianti Montalbano DOCG and olive oil milling, and Tenuta Le Farnete, a 50-hectare estate purchased in 1990 in the highly historic Carmignano DOCG zone. Because the estate name "Cantagallo" contains the word "Gallo," the family's wines are imported and recognized globally under the Pierazzuoli label to bypass global trademark restrictions. Certified organic since 2018, the family leverages old-vine fruit to produce classic, food-friendly Chianti Riservas made from 100% Sangiovese, alongside structured, traditional Carmignano blends utilizing the region's mandatory mix of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.
