Tasting the wine reveals lots of honey-soaked, rich and fresh tropical fruit flavors as well as citrus, peach and apricot. The wine alse features a smooth, mouth-filling and luxurious texture. A bit of minerality leads into the dry, tart and delicious finish.

Originally from Lisbon but with his early life in Monção, Miguel Queimado acquired a taste for viticulture as he accompanied his grandparents to work on the family vineyards. With a clear objective of living and working in viticulture, at age 18 he went to Vila Real to graduate in Eng. Agricola, very close to the most emblematic place of the National viticulture, the Douro. With their well-established childhood experiences, the passion for the Vinho Verde region left no choice but to choose Monção to live, and in 2006 began a process of reconversion of the different vineyards to different altitudes. The dream materializes in 2012 with the recovery of the family's centenary wine cellar and the launch of the Ares Valley in 2013, with oenology by Gabriela Albuquerque. MQ Vinhos is a young family project that embraced with all passion the concept of "boutique winery", dedicated to the production of premium wines of the Alvarinho variety, under the brand "Vale dos Ares". The vineyards are located in the sub-region of Monção and Melgaço (Quinta do Mato), family property since 1683.
