They chose to locate the estate in the Tupangato Valley at the western extremes of Mendoza, in the virgin foothills of the Andes Mountains, at an altitude of 1,200 meters. The philosophy of the estate is to show the true expression of their terroir. They have an ideal microclimate for the slow ripening of fruits, with a sharp contrast between daytime and night time temperatures, low annual rainfall and rocky soils of loose structure as a result of erosion from the Andes Mountains. When all the above is combined it allows the winemaker the opportunity to produce wines with utmost balance and expression. The estate produces white wines with natural acidity, minerality, elegance, complexity, and citric aromas, whilst red wines have intense colours, floral notes, natural acidity, black fruits and spicy aromas with complexity and concentration.
