Château Rousset-Caillau is a historic, family-owned winery situated in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux, France, nestled on the strategic watershed between the Garonne and Dordogne estuaries. Originally purchased by the Goulpier family in 1929 after transitioning from their family baking business, the estate is currently managed by its fourth generation, led by Catherine Goulpier and her husband Sébastien Léglise. Operating under the Vignobles Falgueyret-L'Église umbrella, the estate is celebrated for dismantling the notion that high-quality Bordeaux must be expensive. The vineyard's south-facing clay-limestone slopes and a carefully maintained system of traditional irrigation channels help nurture their grapes, resulting in structured Bordeaux Supérieur red blends typically dominated by Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, alongside crisp, lively white blends highlighting Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon.
