Domaine Albin Jacumin, although established under its current standalone label in 1991, is backed by more than a century of multi-generational winemaking history in the historic heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Spanning roughly 19 hectares of pristine vines across the southern Rhône Valley, the family-run estate was officially formed when patriarch Aimé Jacumin consolidated historical family plots. Originally commercialized under the name La Bégude des Papes, the winery was eventually renamed to eliminate market confusion and fully highlight the family’s surname. Today, managed by Albin Jacumin, his wife Agnès, and their son Baptiste, the family practices highly sustainable viticulture across an incredibly diverse mosaic of terroirs—with plots scattered across all four cardinal points of the appellation to capture a wide array of limestone, sand, and large quartzite pebble (galets roulés) soils. Following a complete, state-of-the-art renovation of their gravity-fed cellars in 2012, the domaine is globally praised for balancing rich family traditions with sleek modernity, specializing in deeply intense, Grenache-dominated red blends like La Bégude des Papes Rouge and A Aime, alongside tiny, highly allocated parcels of complex white Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
