The domaine focuses entirely on red wines made from Pinot Noir. The portfolio is headed by two grand cru wines from Vougeot and Flagey-Échézeaux. It also features five premier crus, two in each of Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges, and one in Morey-Saint-Denis. Village-level wines are made from all three appellations. Unusually, three different village Vosne-Romanée wines are made from the same fruit. The \"conventional\" bottling is aged in 500-liter hogsheads (see below for winemaking). Jarre is aged in terracotta for a little extra minerality, while the Menhir cuvée is made in a truncated cone-shaped oak vat. A number of Bourgogne wines are also made. The Forey family has an established presence in Vosne-Romanée and oversaw the viticulture and vinification of the La Romanée Grand Cru vineyard, the smallest of appellation in France, until 2001.
