Ludovic Montginot is a highly dedicated, micro-scale artisan wine project based in Régnié-Durette within France's celebrated Beaujolais region, established in 2016 by its namesake founder. Previously working as a professional car mechanic, Montginot shifted careers to pursue his lifelong passion for viticulture, starting entirely from scratch to build a strict, one-man operation. Managing a microscopic footprint of just three hectares of land, he oversees every stage of production entirely by hand—from meticulously tending the vines to manually racking barrels in a small stone cellar. Embracing organic and biodynamic principles guided by lunar cycles and minimal intervention, his portfolio is headlined by highly concentrated, deeply structured, and expressive Gamay Noir bottlings. These include powerful expressions from two of the Morgon appellation's most coveted terroirs: the volcanic schist slopes of Côte du Py and the elegant Les Charmes vineyard.
