An intense nose and liveliness balanced by a silky texture. Bright, fresh and full of Mediterranean sunshine. The Blanc is made from an intriguing blend of Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris, Macabeu, Roussanne, Vermentino and Carignan Gris.

Producer Information

Mas Cristine was taken over in 2006 by three winegrowers, including Philippe Gard from Coume del Mas. Julien Grill supervises the estate planted on shales of the Albères massif near Argeles, Banyuls and Collioure. Created in the 19th century, this former estate is located at the southern limit of the AOC Côtes du Roussillon. It has an ideal location overlooking the sea, in the middle of cork oaks. The soils consist of a mixture of schist, quartz and red clay. Established since 1810, the estate has magnificent vines of Syrah, Grenache, Roussanne, Marsanne and Muscat. Yields never exceed 25Hl/Ha. Finesse and freshness characterize the wines of Domaine Mas Cristine.
