RUMOR Rosé was born from a group of friends looking to discover the perfect pink wine. After many years in the corporate world, founder, Barry Bayat, embarked on a journey to find the quintessential cuvée, undertaking countless winery tours, vineyard visits and taste tests. This process led him to the village of Flassans-sur-Issole, in the heart of the hills of the Var. Founded in the 13th century by the Knights Templar ,the rich history of the land makes it one of the jewels of Provence as the domain has always maintained its agricultural and winegrowing traditions, which are demonstrated in RUMOR Rosé. Alongside the winemaker, Bayat has created a masterful blend of the vineyard’s highest quality grapes from each harvest, culminating in the ideal rosé for every occasion.
On launching RUMOR, founder Barry Bayat says: “My vision has always been to produce a high quality wine that speaks for itself. After months of extensive travel, research and finessing to find the perfect cuvée, I am extremely proud to share RUMOR with you, now served at some of the most prestigious venues worldwide. I created RUMOR to celebrate the quintessential feeling of relaxing days and carefree nights, all year round.”
