      Detailed Description

The 2021 Brennan Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon is a juicy, well-balanced Texas red wine offering a mix of vibrant dark fruit, spicy peppery notes, and smooth oak integration.

      Producer Information

Brennan Vineyards, established in 2001 by the late Dr. Pat and Trellise Brennan, is widely celebrated as one of the finest and most influential pioneers of world-class, 100% estate-driven viticulture in Comanche, Texas. Grounded in their unwavering commitment to "authenticity from ground to glass", the winery is uniquely headquartered on one of the oldest remaining homesteads in the state, utilizing the historic, 1879 McCrary House as their rustic tasting room salon. The Brennans originally planted five acres in 2002 to act as premium grape suppliers to their close friends at Becker Vineyards, but they quickly transitioned into commercial vintners, expanding to roughly 30 to 37 acres of estate vines situated in the alluvial sandy soils of Comanche County. Under the expert direction of head winemaker Todd Webster, who relies on a meticulous blend of Old World traditions and high-tech innovations, Brennan Vineyards has garnered stellar critical acclaim—including an impressive sweep of 90-plus point ratings—by proving that grapes like Viognier, Nero d’Avola, Roussanne, and Alicante Bouschet can thrive beautifully in the Texas terroir.
